According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the accident occurred at Menaul Boulevard NE and Richmond Dr NE at around 1 p.m.
A purple Subaru attempted to turn onto Menaul Boulevard from Richmond Road when it collided with a westbound Yamaha Motorcycle on Menaul Road approaching Richmond.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
