Albuquerque, N.M. – A 47-year-old bicyclist was killed in a crash on Monday morning in Albuquerque.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the crash happened at Carlisle Boulevard and Claremont Avenue near I-40 at around 7:40 a.m.
A man was driving a vehicle eastbound on Claremont and attempted to turn left onto Carlisle when he struck a westbound 47-year-old e-bike rider on Claremont.
The driver fled the scene.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car involved was arrested and is accused of tampering with evidence.
