Portland, OR – A 9-year-old child was injured Wednesday evening in an e-scooter accident in southeast Portland, according to the police.
The accident happened just after 7:30 p.m. on September 24 at the intersection of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Southeast Lincoln Street.
Police said the child was riding an e-scooter when they were hit by a car.
The child was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene after the accident.
The accident closed Southeast 122nd Avenue between Sherman and Mill Streets.
The police are investigating the accident.
