Bay County, FL.- 86-year-old man of Port Saint Joe was killed after a deadly crash on Wednesday night in Bay County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on US 98 near Airley Avenue.
Police said the man was traveling east on US 98 when he hit a concrete island and drove onto the curb under the overpass where he crashed.
He was rushed to Bay Ascension Sacred Heart where he was declared dead.
The Tynadall Airforce Base and the FHP responded to the site.
An investigation is underway.
