76-Year-Old Woman Killed in Golf Car Accident on S 52nd Court in Marion County

Troopers said a 75-year-old woman of Orange Springs was heading south in a golf cart when the cart ran over the 76-year-old woman who was standing on the south end of the yard on the east side of the second fence.

Marion County, FL. – A 76-year-old woman was killed in a golf cart crash in a backyard of a property in Summerfield on Wednesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on August 27, in the 14800 block of Southeast 52nd Court. 

Troopers said a 75-year-old woman of Orange Springs was heading south in a golf cart when the cart ran over the 76-year-old woman who was standing on the south end of the yard on the east side of the second fence.

The 76-year-old died in the accident.

No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
