Deputies said a 2017 black Ford F-150 was heading westbound when it drove into a private drive. The woman was driving her 2018 Yamaha SMAX scooter eastbound, and she crashed into the rear quarter panel of the Ford as the Ford turned in front of her.
Oregon, IL. – A woman was killed after a scooter accident on Sunday in rural Oregon, Illinois, according to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened in the area of 5000 W. Pines Road on October 5.
Deputies said a 2017 black Ford F-150 was heading westbound when it drove into a private drive. The woman was driving her 2018 Yamaha SMAX scooter eastbound, and she crashed into the rear quarter panel of the Ford as the Ford turned in front of her.
She was declared dead at the crash site.
No charges have been filled.
An investigation is underway.
