Deputies said a motorcycle went off the road and crashed in unclear circumstances.
Oakley, IL. – A 68-year-old Oakley man was killed after a motorcycle accident on Wednesday morning in Oakley, according to the Macon County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened at 7:00 a.m. on September 3, on Angle Crossing Road and Stare Road.
Deputies said a motorcycle went off the road and crashed in unclear circumstances.
He was rushed to Decatur Memorial Hospital and was later flown to Springfield Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
His name was not immediately released.
An investigation by the Springfield Memorial Hospital is underway.
