Elgin, IL. – The Illinois State Police is investigating a two-vehicle accident that injured five people on Tuesday afternoon in Elgin.
The accident happened a while after 1:00 p.m. on January 13, on westbound I-90, just east of the Randall Road overpass.
Police said a white Ford pickup and a black Jeep SUV were involved in the accident.
Five people were taken to a hospital for treatment.
All lanes were re-opened a while after 2:00 p.m.
