Troopers said the man from Fort Myers was walking across the northbound lanes of the interstate when he was hit by a vehicle.

Fort Myers, FL. – A 49-year-old man was killed after a pedestrian accident on Thursday last week in Fort Myers, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 10:28 p.m. on June 26, on Interstate 75 near Daniels Parkway.
Troopers said the man from Fort Myers was walking across the northbound lanes of the interstate when he was hit by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the crash site.
