All three occupants of the second car were transported to Grande Ronde Hospital for treatment

La Grande, OR. – Several people were injured in a car accident that happened in La Grande on Friday morning.
According to La Grande Police Department, the accident happened at in the area of Fourth Street and N Avenue at around 8 a.m.
Dillon Reames, 26, was driving westbound in a gray Toyota Tacoma on N Avenue when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a Ford Explorer.
The impact of the collision caused the Tacoma to overturn while the Explorer struck a tree.
All three occupants of the second car were transported to Grande Ronde Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Reames sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released. He was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device and operating a vehicle without a license
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
