Deputies said an SUV and van collided in unclear circumstances.

McLean County, IL. – Three persons were killed after a traffic collision on Sunday afternoon in rural Cooksville, McLean County, according to the McLean County Coroner’s Office.
The accident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. on May 17, at Illinois 9 and 2600 East Road.
Deputies said an SUV and a van collided in unclear circumstances.
The SUV driver, a 58-year-old Ellsworth woman, and the rear van passenger, an 82-year-old from Millbrae, California, were declared dead at the scene.
Additional van occupants were taken to local hospitals.
A third person, an 86-year-old man from Millbrae, California, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.
No other information regarding this crash was provided.
The incident remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police and the McLean County Coroner.
