Deputies confirmed a pickup truck, and a passenger vehicle crashed in unclear circumstances.
Ludlow Township, IL. – Three people were killed following a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday morning in Ludlow Township, according to the Champaign County Sheriff’s deputies.
The deadly collision happened at around 4:45 p.m. June 24, at County Road 1550 E and County Road 3500N.
Deputies confirmed a pickup truck, and a passenger vehicle crashed in unclear circumstances.
The pickup truck, a 62-year-old man from Paxton, and the passenger driver, a 56-year-old female from Paxton, were declared dead at the scene.
A 30-year-old female from Ludlow, an occupant in the passenger vehicle, was rushed to an area hospital where she died.
The names of the deceased person were not immediately released awaiting notification of next of kin.
An investigation by the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office is ongoing.
