Chicago, IL – Three people were injured Tuesday night in a two-car collision in Washington Park, according to the police.

The collision occurred around 10:55 p.m. on July 29 in the 300 block of E Garfield Boulevard at the intersection with Prairie Avenue

Police said a purple sedan was heading northbound on Prairie when it collided with a black car that was traveling westbound on Garfield.

The purple car was left lodged between a building and a tree following the impact.

The male driver of the purple sedan was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be OK.

Two women in the black car were also taken to a local hospital and are expected to be OK.

The police are investigating the accident.
