Portland, OR. – Three people were hospitalized after two vehicles crashed down an embankment on Sunday afternoon in Portland, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 12:30 p.m. on October 19 in the area of Northwest St. Helens Road and Harborton Drive.
Portland Fire and Rescue crews said two cars, for unknown reasons, fell down a difficult to access embankment and trapped three people.
The nearby railroads were temporarily closed and firefighters took about 15 minutes to free the victims.
The three victims were transported to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
No additional details regarding the crash were provided.
The police are investigating the accident.
