Troopers said a Nissan SUV; a box truck and two pickup trucks were involved in the accident.
Miami-Dade County, FL. – Three persons were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident on Monday morning in Miami-Dade County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on September 29, on southbound Interstate 95 near Ives Dairy Road.
Troopers said a Nissan SUV; a box truck and two pickup trucks were involved in the accident.
The three drivers sustained minor injuries due to the collision. They were all taken to Jackson North Medical Center for treatment.
All the southbound lanes were closed down following the crash.
One lane reopened at about 9:00 a.m. The roadway was expected to be fully cleared by 9:30 a.m.
An investigation is ongoing.
