Troopers said a 2023 Chevrolet box truck was heading northbound when it lost control on the wet highway and crossed the median and crashed into a 2014 Nissan Altima in the southbound lanes.

Martin County, FL. – Three people were hospitalized after a box truck collision early Friday morning near Hobe Sound in Martin County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 7:25 a.m. on October 3, on Interstate 95 near mile marker 96.
Troopers said a 2023 Chevrolet box truck was heading northbound when it lost control on the wet highway and crossed the median and crashed into a 2014 Nissan Altima in the southbound lanes.
The truck rolled over and blocked several lanes following the crash.
The truck driver, a 32-year-old driver from North Lauderdale, suffered critical injuries and was hospitalized.
The Altima driver, a 28-year-old woman from Stuart, and her 57-year-old passenger from Palm City, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also hospitalized.
Troopers closed all southbound lanes temporarily to give way for a clearing operation.
An investigation is underway.
