Authorities said the motorist operating a black SUV ran a stop sign and crashed into the police car.

Englewood, IL. – Three persons including two police officers were injured after a police squad vehicle was involved in a traffic collision on Saturday evening in Englewood.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the accident occurred at about 6:01 p.m. on August 23, in the 6600 block of South Normal Boulevard.
Authorities said the motorist operating a black SUV ran a stop sign and crashed into the police car.
The driver and two officers were injured due to the collision. They were all transported to hospital and none of them sustained severe injuries.
No one was cited after the crash.
No other details regarding this incident were released.
An investigation is underway.
