Three people injured in collision on Highway 50 in Madison County
Madison County, IL. – Three people were injured in a collision on Saturday afternoon near Sandoval in Madison County.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 3:21 p.m. on Highway 50.
34-year-old Amanda Brink was driving a car when she collided with a car driven by 63-year-old Steven Young.
Both drivers and a passenger in Brink’s car, 29-year-old Drake Weissert, were injured in the accident and were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
More details about the accident were not released.
