Elkhart County, IN. – At least three people were injured in a Wednesday afternoon car crash in Elkhart County.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of County Roads 19 and 36 at around 3:50 p.m.

A 2012 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling west on County Road 36 when it reportedly failed to yield at the intersection and was struck by a 2021 Ford Explorer traveling north on County Road 19.

The 29-year-old Goshen woman driving the Explorer and her 4-year-old passenger were hospitalized with minor injuries.

The 19-year-old Goshen woman driving the Cruz was unhurt. Her passenger, a 19-year-old from Goshen, complained of pain.
