Troopers said a 2019 Audi Q5 was heading south in the northbound lanes at high rate of speed when it collided head-on with a 2021 Toyota Camry.

Clermont, FL. – A 28-year-old man from Orlando was killed after a head-on collision early Sunday morning in Clermont, Lake County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred a while before 2:00 a.m. on September 21, on U.S. 27 north of Frank Jarrell Road.
Troopers said a 2019 Audi Q5 was heading south in the northbound lanes at high rate of speed when it collided head-on with a 2021 Toyota Camry.
The Orlando man driving the Toyota was declared dead at the crash site.
The 22-year-old man from Windermere operating the Audi was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center with severe injuries.
The roadway was blocked following the collision. The highway has since reopened.
