Jacksonville, FL. – A 28-year-old man was killed after a deadly collision on Monday morning in Jacksonville.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the accident happened at about 6:00 a.m. south of the U.S. on the Buckman Bridge.

Per the report, a 28-year-old man in a pickup truck crashed into the back of a box truck disabled in the left emergency lane.

The male pickup driver was declared dead at the crash site. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
