FHP officials said Ford Maverick was heading westbound in the left turn lane while the Harley-Davidson was heading eastbound in the inside lane and the two collided.

Apopka, FL. – A 25-year-old woman was killed after a motorcycle accident on Saturday in Apopka, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on State Road 436 and Lake Pleasant Road on September 13.
FHP officials said Ford Maverick was heading westbound in the left turn lane while a Harley-Davidson was heading eastbound in the inside lane and the two collided.
The rider and their passenger were ejected from the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The female passenger was rushed to Adventhealth Apopka where she was later declared dead.
The driver and passenger of the Ford Maverick were not hurt in the collision. They stayed at the crash site after the accident.
No additional information regarding the crash was released.
An investigation is underway.
