Phoenix, AZ – Two police officers and a woman were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in South Phoenix, according to the police.

The collision happened around 5:30 p.m. on July 11 on 19th Avenue between Lower Buckeye Road and Buckeye Road.

Police said a woman was driving a white sedan when she made a U-turn in front of a Phoenix PD patrol vehicle, resulting in a collision.

Two officers in the patrol car and the sedan driver were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

No further details were available.

The police are investigating the accident.
