Both victims were taken to a local trauma center for treatment

Pima County, AZ. – Two Tucson residents were injured in a single-vehicle accident in Pima County early Sunday morning, according to the authorities.
The accident happened around 2:00 a.m. on October 12 on Arivaca Highway at mile marker 19.
Authorities said a Honda Accord lost control, skidded off the roadway, and struck several trees before coming to rest 30 feet north of the roadway.
The Honda driver, a man in his 30s, suffered minor injuries. His passenger, a woman in her 30s, sustained serious injuries. Both victims were taken to a local trauma center for treatment.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident.
