According to WSP, Cesar Hernandez was trying to make an illegal passing when the sedan he was driving collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle driven by Tiffany C. Adams, 43, of Othello.

Adams County, WA – Cesar E. Hernandez, 28, and Angel M. Valenzuela, 20, both from Moses Lake, were killed in a collision in Adams County on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident took place on State Route 17 north of Othello at about 3:30 p.m. on April 16.
According to WSP, Cesar Hernandez was trying to make an illegal passing when the sedan he was driving collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle driven by Tiffany C. Adams, 43, of Othello.
Hernandez and one of his passengers, identified as Valenzuela, were both killed in the accident.
Two other passengers in the Hernandez vehicle and three occupants of the other vehicle were taken to Othello Community Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The collision is under investigation.
