Phoenix, AZ – Two male drivers were killed following a two-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Phoenix late Friday night.
The deadly crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. on March 18 near 43rd Avenue and Orangewood Avenue, just north of Glendale Avenue, according to Phoenix Police.
Police said two vehicles were involved in the crash.
A preliminary investigation revealed that one of the vehicles was heading northbound on 43rd Avenue when, for some reason, it crossed into the opposite lane and collided with the oncoming vehicle.
Both drivers sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital where they later died.
It was not immediately clear if impairment was a factor in the incident.
An investigation into the deadly incident is ongoing.
