De Leon Springs, FL. – Two drivers were killed after a head-on crash early Sunday morning in De Leon Springs, Volusia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred a while before 3:00 a.m. on September 21, on State Road 11, north of Daughtry Road.
The FHP officials said a southbound 2007 Chevrolet Silverado swerved into the northbound lanes and hit a 2013 Nissan Altima head-on for unknown reasons. The Silverado rolled over and burst into flames.
The two drivers and the sole occupants of their vehicles were declared dead at the crash site.
No other information regarding this collision was provided.
