Florida City, FL. – Two persons were killed after a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday morning in Florida City, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened at about 5:15 a.m. on Card Sound Road, approximately eight miles south of U.S. 1
Authorities said three vehicles collided in unclear circumstances.
Two men were declared dead at the crash site. Another male was rushed to an area hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
Officials said Card Sound Road was closed in both directions delaying traffic from U.S.1 to the Monroe County line.
