Anderson, IN. – Two people were killed after a police pursuit ended in a car crash early Tuesday morning in Anderson.
According to Anderson police, the fatal collision happened around 2:15 a.m. at 17th and Jackson streets.
A suspect fleeing the police was speeding southbound on Jackson Street when the driver lost control and hit a power pole before crashing into two houses.
One person died at the accident scene, and another was transported to the hospital, where they later died.
A third person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
