2 Killed After Rollover Crash at Tomoka Farms Road and Bellevue Avenue in Daytona

Troopers said a 2005 Acura was traveling north on Tomoka Farms Road when it ran off the road and hit an embankment, rolled over and crashed into a construction equipment.

Daytona, FL. – Two people were killed after a rollover collision on Thursday morning in Daytona, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at 10:10 a.m. on February 19, at Tomoka Farms Road, south of Bellevue Avenue near the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market.

Troopers said a 2005 Acura was traveling north on Tomoka Farms Road when it ran off the road and hit an embankment, rolled over and crashed into a construction equipment.

The 2005 Acura then burst into flames entrapping the driver.

An Acura passenger, a 27-year-old man from Orange City and not wearing his seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. He was declared dead at the crash site.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
