The fatal collision occurred around 6:15 p.m. on July 17 in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Picacho.
Pinal County, AZ – Two people were killed and another was seriously injured Thursday evening in a head-on collision in Pinal County, about five miles outside of Eloy, according to the Arizona DPS.
The fatal collision occurred around 6:15 p.m. on July 17 in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Picacho.
DPS said a black Jeep Cherokee SUV was traveling eastbound when it veered left, crossed the median into the westbound lanes and crashed head-on into a white Ram pickup truck.
The Jeep driver and passenger were ejected and were pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The troopers are investigating the collision.
