
Okanogan County, WA – Two women were injured early Sunday morning in a DUI accident in Okanogan County, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
The accident happened around 5:45 a.m. on August 10 on Highway 20, about 14 miles northwest of Winthrop.
WSP said a car, occupied by two women, was traveling westbound on the highway when it left the roadway and crashed into two small trees and a barbed wire fence.
Both women were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver was suspected to have been under the influence.
The WSP is investigating the accident.
