Darien, IL. – Two people were injured after a fiery crash early Friday morning in Darien, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident happened at around 2:30 a.m. on May 8, on southbound Interstate 55 at Lemont Road.
Police said a truck-tractor semi-trailer and a passenger vehicle were involved in the collision. The semi burst into flames after the crash.
Two people sustained injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Lanes were blocked following the crash.
