Seattle, WA. – Two pedestrians were injured after being struck by a motorcycle on Friday evening in South Seattle.

According to Seattle Fire Department, the accident happened around 8:20 p.m. at Martin Luther King Junior Way South (MLK) and South Alaska Street.

A motorcycle was traveling southbound on MLK when it struck a 59-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman while they were walking in the crosswalk.

An American Medical Response crew transported the injured man to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) in stable condition.

The unconscious woman was also transported to HMC in critical condition.

The motorcyclist fled the scene on foot and was yet to be located.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
