Michigan City, IN. – Two people were hospitalized in critical condition following a car crash on Saturday afternoon in Michigan City.
According to the Michigan City Police Department, the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. at 100 Water Street.
A vehicle reportedly veered off the highway and crashed into Trail Creek.
Two people were pulled from the submerged vehicle and taken to Franciscan Hospital for treatment.
Both were later transferred to a Chicago-area hospital in critical condition.
