Joliet, IL. – A 57-year-old Joliet woman and a 23-year-old Plainfield man were seriously injured in a car accident on Monday morning in Joliet.
According to the Joliet Police Department, the accident happened around 6:10 a.m. at the intersection of Plainfield Road and Voyager Lane.
The Plainfield was driving a Honda Civic southbound on Plainfield Road and was making a left turn onto Voyager Lane when he collided with a Toyota Sienna driven by the Joliet woman.
The man was taken to St Joseph Medical Center with serious injuries.
The woman was rushed to Silver Cross Hospital in critical condition by the Joliet Fire Department.
