Authorities said a 16-year-old female was heading east on Delhi Road across the U.S. Highway 67 when she was hit by a vehicle operated by a 53-year-old male traveling south on U.S. Highway 67.
Jersey County, IL. – Two persons were injured after a traffic collision on Wednesday morning in Jersey County, according to the Jersey County Sheriff’s Department.
The collision occurred a while after 7:30 p.m. on December 10, just south of the Delhi Road and U.S. Highway 67 intersection.
Authorities said a 16-year-old female was heading east on Delhi Road across the U.S. Highway 67 when she was hit by a vehicle operated by a 53-year-old male traveling south on U.S. Highway 67.
The male was taken to the Jersey Community Hospital while the female was flown to a hospital in St. Louis.
Officials did not believe the injuries were life-threatening.
No other information regarding this crash was provided.
