Deputies said a vehicle was heading southbound when it crashed into a northbound car that was trying to turn near Oak Rest Road.
Brighton, IL. – Two people were injured following a traffic collision on Saturday afternoon just south of Brighton.
According to the Jersey County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened on Route 111 and Oak Rest Road on September 20.
Deputies said a vehicle was heading southbound when it crashed into a northbound car that was trying to turn near Oak Rest Road.
A 32-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Further information concerning the collision was not released.
