Hobart, IN. – Two people were injured in a Monday afternoon car crash in Hobart.

According to the Indiana State Police, the accident occurred on Interstate 65 southbound, about a mile north of 61st Avenue.

A Chevrolet Silverado was traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a Ford F-150 that was parked on the right shoulder.

A roadside worker who was standing outside the pickup truck was struck by the Ford after the initial collision.

The Chevrolet overturned after the crash.
