Troopers said a driver was attempting to enter the ramp at Lake Cook Road to the southbound I-294 at a high rate of speed when the car went off the roadway. The car struck a guardrail, went airborne and overturned onto its side.

Deerfield, IL. – Two persons were hurt after a traffic collision early Friday morning in Deerfield, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred a while after 3:00 a.m. on April 24, on I-294 at Lake Cook Road.
Troopers said a driver was attempting to enter the ramp at Lake Cook Road to the southbound I-294 at a high rate of speed when the car went off the roadway. The car struck a guardrail, went airborne and overturned onto its side.
The driver and the passenger were pinned inside the car and were freed by emergency responders.
The two occupants were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
