Police said a gold SUV and a black SUV crashed for unknown reasons.

Decatur, IL. – Two people were injured after a traffic collision on Tuesday morning in Decatur, according to the Decatur Police Department.
The accident happened a while before 8:00 a.m. on June 9 at the Garfield Avenue and Main Street intersection.

The gold SUV driver, a 52-year-old woman, was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
A gold SUV passenger, a 58-year-old man, was unresponsive at the crash site. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The SUV driver, a 42-year-old woman, was not injured in the collision.
Police closed the intersection for about three hours following the crash.
