Brooksville, FL.- Two people were injured after a multi-car accident on Wednesday morning in Brooksville, according to the Hernando County Fire Rescue (HCFR).
The accident occurred on westbound Cortez Boulevard and Dorsey Smith Road a while after 7:00 a.m. on March 25.
Officials said multiple vehicles crashed in unclear circumstances.
Two people were severely injured and were rushed to a local trauma. All the other patients declined transportation to the hospital.
Traffic delays were experienced in the area after westbound lanes of Cortez Boulevard were closed. Drivers were asked to seek alternate routes.
