2 Children Die After Tractor Trailer Crash on I-10 near Mile Marker in Walton County

Walton County, FL. – Two children ages 4 and 7 were killed after a traffic collision on Sunday evening in Walton County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at about 5:50 p.m. on February 8, on I-10 east near mile marker 86.

Troopers said a 34-year-old Bonifay man was driving an SUV when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer in front of him. A second tractor trailer then rear-ended the first tractor-trailer.

 The SUV rolled over severally in the median. 

The SUV passengers, a 4 year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, were killed in the collision.

The Bonifay man sustained severe injuries.

The tractor-trailer drivers were not hurt in the collision.

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.
