Oak Lawn, IL. – At least seventeen students were injured in a car accident on Friday morning in Oak Lawn.
According to the police, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at 118th Street and Pulaski Road, on the border of Chicago and Oak Lawn.
A school bus carrying students to Richards High School in Oak Lawn collided with another car in unclear circumstances.
Seventeen students were transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center as a precautionary measure.
The driver of the other car was ticketed for causing the crash.
More details about the accident were not released.
