Authorities said two vehicles crashed head-on for reasons still under investigation.
Phoenix, AZ. – One person was severely hurt, and several others injured after a head-on collision on Thursday morning in Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
The accident occurred at about 5:00 a.m. on April 2, near 71st Avenue and McDowell Road.
Authorities said two vehicles crashed head-on for reasons still under investigation.
One person was transported to the hospital for treatment of severe injuries.
At least five individuals were injured following the collision. They were treated and released at the scene.
Authorities closed McDowell Road in both directions between 69th and 73rd Avenues.
