Woodburn, OR – One person was killed early Tuesday morning in a wrong-way accident south of Woodburn, according to the Oregon State Police.
The fatal accident was reported around 4:22 a.m. on I-5 southbound between Keene Road Northeast and Concomly Road Northeast.
Police said a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle.
One person was killed in the accident. The victim’s identity has not been released.
The accident closed southbound I-5. One lane has since been reopened.
The police are investigating the accident.
