Tacoma, WA – A person was killed Tuesday evening in a motorcycle accident in Tacoma, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The deadly accident happened around 5:15 p.m. on August 5 on southbound Interstate 705 near the Interstate 5 interchange.
WSP said a motorcycle crashed into a barrier. The rider was killed in the accident. Their identity has not been released.
The accident closed the southbound lanes of I-705.
The WSP is investigating the accident.
