Two people in the southbound car were injured and were taken to hospital in unknown condition.
Yelm, WA. – One person died after a police pursuit ended in a crash in Yelm on Sunday night.
The accident happened on SR 507 near 312th Street at around 9 p.m., according to the police.
A suspect was driving a vehicle northbound on the highway and was fleeing from the police. The suspect reportedly drifted into the southbound lane for unknown reasons and collided head-on with another car.
The suspect was ejected from the car. Despite lifesaving efforts by an officer on the scene, the suspect succumbed to injuries.
