Wasco County, OR. – One person was killed Sunday evening in a single-car accident in Wasco County near Maupin, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 4:39 p.m. on October 5 on Highway 197 near milepost 37.
Police said a gray Isuzu Rodeo was traveling northbound on the highway when it left its lane for an unknown reason, crossed into the southbound lane, struck the hillside, and rolled over.
The driver was ejected and was declared dead at the scene.
