Vancouver, WA. – One person was killed in a bicycle accident in Vancouver on Tuesday morning.
According to the Vancouver Police Department, the accident happened around 8:40 a.m. at NE 49th Street and NE 127th Avenue.
A man was riding an e-bike westbound on NE 49th Street in the bike lane when he was struck by a Ford Transit van that was making a left turn.
The bicyclist was killed in the accident.
The name of the man was not immediately disclosed.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
